APRON LINE FOR THE MODERN WOMAN ON NOVEMBER 2, 2009

New York, NY (November 9, 2009) - Susan & Veronica Inc. today announced the launch of their fashion forward apron line and new online store www.SusanandVeronica.com.  Susan & Veronica offer an exciting new collection of fashionista aprons for today’s modern woman. 

Launched by former MTV co-workers, the idea came to fruition after Susan Natoli (Head of Design) handmade a special apron for Veronica Prager (President) as a gift to celebrate Veronica’s bridal shower.  The apron was such a hit that they decided to form a company; Susan and Veronica Inc. was born.

“We designed these aprons with the philosophy that ‘Style begins at Home™’ and are thrilled about bringing such a contemporary spin to this iconic kitchen accessory” says Susan.  Veronica adds “Today, more women are spending time in their own kitchens rather than dining out, so we wanted to create a line that would make them feel good about staying in.  Today’s modern woman does it all and our aprons represent her commitment to her family, as well as to herself.”

The line features their signature Sugar Bomb™ Strapless apron and their Honey Kiss™ Waist apron, which strike the perfect balance between function and style. The “Road Trip” apron is offered on an exclusive limited run and the “Cutie Cane” apron is a must buy for the Holiday season.  Other highlights include the “Pink Ribbon” apron, inspired by Veronica’s sister-in-law’s battle with breast cancer.  A percentage of all sales of the “Pink Ribbon” apron will go to the Young Survival Coalition.

About Susan Natoli (Head of Design):
Susan Natoli has always had a flair for fashion. Growing up outside Rochester, she started designing her own imaginative rock star clothes at 10 years old and continued to create her own designs throughout college.  In 1996, she went on to a flourishing career at MTV - a breeding ground for style and individuality, and soon brought her fun and fabulous sensibility to her own handbag collection under her own name.  Susan Natoli Handbags were featured in national magazines and TV shows, and were a favorite of the trend-setting Hollywood crowd.  In 2007, Susan put aside the handbag business to join forces with Veronica, her best friend from MTV, to collaborate on a new line of fashionista aprons. 

About Veronica Prager (President):
Veronica Prager was born in South America. When she was 5 years old, her family moved to the USA in pursuit of the “American dream.” They settled in Queens, NY.  Veronica met Susan while working at MTV as an On-Air Talent Manager. Their connection for all things fashion was immediate.  Veronica expanded her career focus for the next few years as Marketing & PR Manager for a teen lifestyle brand while still freelancing as a celebrity talent booker.  Her entrepreneurial spirit had been evident throughout her professional endeavors but it was the handmade apron that Susan gave her for her bridal shower that immediately sparked their new business collaboration.
