Susan and Veronica - Careers

Susan & Veronica are now hiring Spring semester interns. All our interns get a hands-on experience into the daily function of our business.  We believe that our interns are just as important as anyone else on our team.  We have many developments in 2010 and are looking for superstar interns to aid in the growth of our exciting new collection. This is a fun opportunity with the potential for a lot of perks for the right person.

Interns must be available to work for a minimum of 2 days per week. This internship is in the New York City area. It is an unpaid internship for college students looking for credit or experience. Hours are flexible and can be worked around class schedules. Some evening hours are required for attending events.

Requirements:
* Recently graduated or currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university
* Organized with great prioritizing and multitasking ability
* Must be proactive in all areas of our business
* Must have excellent knowledge of social media
* Must have a basic knowledge of Photoshop & Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Must be articulate, personable and have the ability to represent the brand on our behalf
* Past internship experience in fashion, PR, interactive marketing or entertainment a plus
* Must have own laptop 
* Must have a passion for our brand!

Responsibilities:
* Assist in updating website pages and the creation of monthly newsletter
* Must be able to perform extensive research as needed
* Ability to create, update and maintain our various databases
* Maintain social media pages and manage social networking tools
* Assist in promotions and events planning
* Assist in fabric and general supply sourcing
* Assist in weekly drop off and pick up of fabric and finished goods
* Perform General Administrative duties & run occasional errands
